and sacrifice himself for the forgiveness of our sins. — Hebrews 2:17<\/em>

At this time last year, doctors performed robotic-assisted surgery to remove George’s cancerous prostate. Because of God’s mercy, George’s body has healed and repeated checkups have shown no signs of disease. Today with hearts full of gratitude both of us can say, “Great is Your faithfulness.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

By God’s mercy and faithfulness, we developed a close relationship with a Muslim Rohingya family, helping them navigate deep waters through this past year. We plan to revisit them in their new home in Kitchener and present the Christmas story in their mother tongue, Lord willing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

God showed mercy and faithfulness in giving George multiple opportunities to minister the Word to his dying brother right up to the day of his passing. The Lord was with us when we traveled west to take part in George’s brother’s celebration of life. We were able to share the gospel in song to grieving attendees. God’s mercy and faithfulness was evident as we reconnected with family and friends over that week.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Now as we celebrate the Lord’s birth, we marvel again at God’s great mercy and faithfulness in sending His only Son into the world ultimately to lay down his own life as a sacrifice and pay the price necessary so that we could be forgiven. Yes, it is because of the Lord’s mercy we are not consumed. Great is Your faithfulness.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
