God of Hope<\/h1>\n\n\n\n

Isn’t that a wonderful prayer above from Romans 15:13? Our God is “the God of hope.” As He fills us who trust in Christ with joy and peace (fruit of the Spirit), we overflow with hope\u2014a calm certainty that our lives and futures are safe and secure in His hands. It’s what everyone needs, and it is what we who trust in Christ have to offer as we share the Good News of salvation in Jesus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Second Surgery Went Well<\/h1>\n\n\n\n

George’s prostate removal operation went flawlessly with no complications. His hospital roommate “Enzo” had a similar procedure but started to hemorrhage in the recovery room, requiring a second operation to save him from bleeding out! We prayed when we heard the news, and God had mercy on him, granting more time to repent and put his trust in the Lord. Please pray that God would soften Enzo’s hard heart.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

George is now steadily recovering at home, and is scheduled to have his 26 staples and catheter removed on December 27th. We believe things are going as well as they are, because you prayed to God for and with us. After 6 more weeks of recuperation, we will visit the surgeon on February 11th to go over a PSA test and biopsy results from the prostate and lymph nodes that were taken out.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
