Airfare, parking, and car rental had all been arranged since January. Several supporting churches had booked us to share during April and early May. But then COVID-19 changed everything. We could have flown as planned, but then we weighed the pros and cons of being\u00a0stranded\u00a0in\u00a0either Canada or the UK\u00a0and unable to fly for up to 4\u00a0months or more, and it became clear that it is best to stay in the UK.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Life has already changed significantly and continues to change each day. Our once busy church with near\u00a0daily activities has moved to no Sunday services and\u00a0no daily community activities. The most difficult of these choices is connected to the recent passing of a dear sister in Christ whom\u00a0you previously prayed for. Her funeral will happen in the days to come, but only family and close friends may attend, following government advice. Later, we hope to hold\u00a0a memorial service so that the church family and other friends may say their goodbyes.<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"text-align:center\"><em>Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his saints.
