The high level of\u00a0cooperation we have attained locally among Baptist churches\u00a0has been cited\u00a0nationally as an example for others to emulate.<\/li>\n<li>Together with our sister churches, we conducted a Family Fun Day outreach at a nearby park. Some 800 free burgers and sausages were served up as a group of 70 young people shared the gospel in word and song.<\/li>\n<li>Karen told her Afghani student\u00a0&#8220;Sharon&#8221; the story of\u00a0Jesus healing the woman with\u00a0the\u00a0issue of blood,\u00a0encouraging\u00a0her to trust Christ for healing. Consequently, we are putting time and effort\u00a0into three\u00a0separate\u00a0Birmingham\u00a0prayer movements. All have\u00a0similar aims but operate in different parts of the city.
